What is the minimum number of actions per Leadership Growth Area?
The leader needs to input a minimum of 3 behavioral actions per Leadership Growth Area in order to be able to publish the Action Plan.
Once the leader has created their action plan, you will be notified via email and you will be able to review the action plan by clicking on the link from this notification email.
Action Plan survey & Action Plan Progress data
One way for the leader to hold themselves accountable to accomplish their leadership growth goals is to take the action plan survey on the Coaching Platform, ideally on a daily basis.
The scores from the completed action plan surveys for each monthly action plan are represented in the Action Plan Progress graph. The graph displays the completion rate % of the behaviors for each leadership growth area across several sessions.
How is the completion rate percentage of the Action Plan Progress calculated?
The average completion rate is calculated based on the number of YES submissions for daily behaviors over the total number of daily behaviors for each growth area times the number of business days passed since the Action Plan was published. Weekly and Monthly behaviors are counted as optional in this calculation. The frequency of the action plan reminders makeS no difference in this calculation.
Completion rate % = # of YES submissions for daily behavioral actions / (# of daily behavioral actions X # of business days passed)
Here is a simple calculation. For example: let’s say there are 5 daily behavioral actions for the leadership growth area of effective communication. By the end of the first week of implementing the monthly action plan the leader checks off YES for all 5 behaviors on Monday, YES for all 5 behaviors on Wednesday, and YES for 4 out of 5 behaviors on Friday. There is a total of 14 YES submissions out of 25 daily behavioral actions for week 1 of implementation for effective communication.
The equation will be as follows: 14 YES submissions / (5 daily behavioral actions x 5 business days since the AP was published) = 56% (for week 1 for the LGA "Effective communication")
Weekly and monthly behavioral actions are optional in this calculation and if marked YES, they will be counted towards the # of YES submissions for daily behavioral actions.
